Android is in everyone’s hand now. If you think you got the full control over your android device, you are still in the dark corner. Device manufacturers would be locking their file systems on devices to avoid unnecessary risk of changing defaults (not settings) of the device just like fonts.

What is file system on Android devices?
Take an example of your personal computer in which you can see the operating system files in the default C: drive or any other drive in which you have the operating system installed.
Coming to androids, can you see those system files in it? Probably not. Rooting is the process to gain the access to see/modify those system files on your device. That means we’re going to unlock the file system with rooting.
Rooting process may not be the same for all android devices. It differs from manufacturer to manufacturer.
Why should you root your Android device?
As I said before, rooting android devices enables advanced user privileges on your device. With this you can,
- Install new fonts or modify existing ones.
- Install or remove applications ( which you can do it in normal mode also).
- Remove applications that cannot be removed in normal mode.
- Remove applications that came with the device on purchase.
If you are a gadget freak and if you ant to play a geek, proceed with excitement else just sit and play temple run 25.
What should you remember while rooting
While rooting your device you should remember cap to head, watch to hand, shoe to leg. No need to wrinkle your eyes, what I meant is rooting process for android devices is not same for all. It differs by manufacturer. Yes! you’re right I already told that in above lines. But I want to tell you that a wrongly rooted android device can be soft bricked.
What is Soft Brick?
Soft brick is the internal damage of the device regarding software. If a device is soft bricked, it can be repaired with enough effort. With the use of recovery and restoration software, you can get you your sick device back to life.
